A paper addressing our on-going multidisciplinary appraisal about pig waste’s impact on environment have been presented to the International workshop on ‘Enhancing the Contribution of Smallstock to the Livelihoods of Resource-poor Communities’ organized by Onderstepoort Veterinary Institute, an Institute of the Agricultural Research Council (ARC), South Africa, and the UK Government Department for International Development’s Livestock Production Programme (DFID LPP).
