Animal production and veterinary medicine teaching and training operations
There are four main reasons for CIRAD’s animal production and veterinary medicine teaching and training operations: they fit in with its basic mandate, they serve to structure a network of players— researchers and development professionals—with common approaches and methods, they make it possible to transfer the knowledge generated by CIRAD researchers to development players, and they respond to demand from CIRAD’s partners, be they research structures or development organizations.
Training operations have been stepped up in the coming years, as demand is growing rapidly. As well as conventional training operations, diploma-based and otherwise, and undergraduate, doctoral and postdoctoral teaching, the demand is increasingly for all-round training projects combining theoretical and technical skills.
