Pigtrop - the information center about pig production and pork meat commodity chains in developing countries

Target group

The beneficiaries are members of the poor rural farmers group named TOLE, which are living in the SHIJAK, a peri-urban area of the Durres district. Totally there are 12 householders.

Objective

1. To assist this group of farmers increasing the incomes through promoting high quality products.
2. To increase the quality and productivity of pig meat production, increasing their shares as locally produced over imported ones.
3. To demonstrate an example for the other rural households.
